Just Waiting

I wanted to capture the feeling that my friend was having when I asked her how she was doing. Her response was, "Just waiting." So, asked her if she was told that her baby would arrive any minute and all she had to do was wait, how would she feel? What would she do?


So, she leaned against the wall with a faint smile and closed her eyes. She said she wanted to be calm and relaxed. So, then I started taking some pictures.


It turned out great and she loved those pictures the best. I think because she was feeling something when the picture was taken and now when she sees the picture she can remember the feeling. It isn't the best picture exposure wise, but it captured her feelings.
